About Primex Economic
An independent economic research and advisory firm based in Cork, Ireland, helping organisations across Ireland and Europe make evidence-based decisions since 2014.
Who We Are
Primex Economic was founded by a group of economists who believed that businesses and institutions deserve research that is rigorous, transparent, and free from commercial bias. What began as a small macroeconomic bulletin has grown into a full-service research firm serving over 150 corporate clients.
Our team combines experience from central banking, academic research, and financial markets. Every report we publish is written and reviewed in-house, and our methodology is documented and available to clients on request.
- Fully independent — no commissions from third parties on our conclusions
- Transparent, documented methodology for every analysis
- Sector specialists covering energy, logistics, finance, and public policy
Our Mission and Values
Our mission is simple: turn complex economic data into clear, actionable insight. We hold ourselves to a set of values that shape everything from how we source data to how we communicate results.
Independence
We accept no sponsorship tied to outcomes. Our conclusions belong to us alone, and clients can rely on them being free of external influence.
Rigour
Every figure is verified, every model documented. Where uncertainty exists, we state it plainly rather than overstate our confidence.
Clarity
We write for decision-makers, not for other economists. Our reports lead with the conclusion and explain the reasoning in plain language.
Timeliness
Analysis loses value quickly. We agree delivery schedules in advance and have a strong record of meeting them.

How We Work
Every engagement begins with a scoping discussion to understand your decision, your timeline, and the questions that matter most. From there, we agree a research plan, deliver interim findings where useful, and present conclusions in the format that suits your team.
Subscribers to our published reviews receive quarterly macro updates and ad-hoc bulletins when significant events occur. Custom research clients receive dedicated analyst support throughout the engagement.
- Clear scope, timeline and pricing agreed upfront
- Direct access to the analysts working on your project
- Follow-up briefings included with every report
